About the Item

A modernistic Stig Lindström ceiling pendant manufactured by Lival Oy in Finland mid 1960s. The pendant features six light bulbs in milk-glass / metal shades on a chrome and teak base. A design growing in popularity with its nostalgic touch and fast becoming a sought after design. The lamp is in its absolute original and functioning condition. Lival is one of the biggest lamp manufacturers in Finland and one of the last surviving ones that is still in business. It was established in 1945 by Harald Lindström, the father of Stig Lindström. The company was called Lindström Valaisin (Lindström Light) which was abbreviated into Lival and still carries that name.
