About the Item

This refined and understated Mid-Century Modern pendant was realized in the Czechoslovakia, circa 1950. It features a sculptural domed shade in opaque milk glass with dramatically concave sunburst interior striated with a wealth of channeled incisions emanating outwards from the circular center. The chandelier attaches to the black enamel cylindrical canopy via a chrome rod. With its idiosyncratic, sculptural form and monochromatic palate, this piece promises to bring more than a touch of sophistication and understated elegance to any interior regardless of the style of decor. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition. The height can be adjusted to suit.
