About the Item

This stylish and dynamic Mid-Century Modernist Expanding Hand-Blown Murano Glass Triedri sputnik Chandelier W/ Brass Fittings originates from Italy, Circa 1970. Features a conical brass element at the base of the chandelier supporting an expanding array of triedre glass elements, milled in their centers to fit around brass rods, opening outwards at a variety of angles reminiscent of a flower in bloom. The piece is suspended with a cylindrical polished brass canopy from which the bulbs lower, beautifully illuminating the brass and glass of the piece, with reflective detailing and sleek finishes. A lovely fixture, this piece will style well in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards, with height that can be adjusted to suit. In Excellent Vintage Condition. Accommodates 4 Candelabra Based Bulbs offering 280 watts of light.
