About the Item

Rare Wilhelm Wagenfeld pendant light combines functional Bauhaus principles with warm modernist aesthetics. The dome-shaped opaline glass shade diffuses light beautifully while the white ceramic mount and enameled metal stem maintain the clean lines characteristic of German industrial design from the era. Opaline glass shade retains its original soft cream tone with excellent light diffusion properties. The ceramic mount shows the quality of Mid-Century manufacturing standards. White enameled metal stem extends cleanly from the mount. No canopy is included with the fixture. Shows light wear consistent with age and use. Well-preserved condition with the opaline glass shade and ceramic components intact. Minor signs of age present.

Large gourd shaped hanging light composed of fluted or reeded matte opaline glass with brass mount and tube. Manufactured and designed in Scandinavia most likely by either Fog & Mørup or Luxus. It remains in a nice vintage condition with only one remark: a tiny (pepper-corn size) chip to the inside on the bottom rim. A beautiful piece suited for Hallway, corridor, dining or bedroom lighting.
