Midcentury beautiful hand-crafted chandelier pendant in bamboo and rattan with round rattan links which can be shortened to adjust it to the desired height in the style of French designer Louis Sognot.
Made in Italy in the 1960s.
It uses 1 bulbs.
Louis Sognot was a French designer best known for his elegant furniture made from a combination of rattan and wood. Sognot was influenced by Art Deco and Cubist aesthetics, giving his work a unique stylistic flair while also being usable. Born on May 25, 1892 in Paris, France, Sognot studied at the École Bernard-Pablissy before working as a designer at the Au Printemps department store in Paris in 1919. The designer went on to become a founding member of the Union des Artistes Decoroteurs. He died in 1970 in Paris, France.
