About the Item

This elegant chandelier was realized in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for their superlative glass production. It features a pagoda style body- consisting of an abundance of Vistosi style discs with opaque centers and transparent amethyst perimeters in hand blown Murano glass- attached to a lustrous chrome body. The chandelier is suspended from the ceiling via a domed canopy and chain, also in chrome. With its clean lines- inspired by Mid-Century Modern design at its finest- and refined palate, this chandelier would be a winning addition to any style of interior. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit. The chandelier accommodates eight Edison based bulbs providing up to 800 watts of light. Italy, 21st century Dimensions: 38" H x 23" W x 23" D.
