About the Item
Verner Panton is the designer of the serie Fun shell that started in 1964. It was edited by Verpan and is still in production this days.
This version is earlier than Panton's design.
Mother of pearl and other shells have been used for decades in Oceania, and Eastern Asia for decoration and brought back to occidental country as a souvenir from those travel. At least it is the story of that one suspension in particular.
Composed of mother of pearl, fishing nylon string and a wooden fixture. 3 light bulbs in the center.

- Condition:Repaired: Some of the nylon thread are very fragile. We have replaced the broken once and changed the most damaged. A nylon roll will be provided in the package when shipping to make any repair. Rewired: Wiring has been checked and renewed if necessary. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor structural damages.
