About the Item

Handmade in Venice, Italy for Andrew Kornat Designs this stunning Leaf Fall Chandelier features 38 mouth blown Murano Glass leaves measuring 23cm/ 9" High x 5cm/ 2" Wide in Clear Cristallo with Granita Glass reverse, suspended from a handmade Brass frame in Polished Nickel finish housing 3 x SES/ E14 Lamp holders This particular style of chandelier is synonymous with the middle of the 20th Century period and has remained ever popular since in varying different forms and shapes. This particular one we have for sale has 3 concentric layers of mouth blown glass leaves, smooth on the front side and with "granita" glass on the inside - this is an historic venetian glass blowing method where the glass is rolled in granulated glass pieces when its still hot so they adhere to the surface and create this stunning frosty frozen effect that refracts the light beautifully when lit. Please see the additional images of the leaves close up The height listed is the minimum height - for the frame, glass drops, ceiling cup and rod with one link of chain. It will be supplied with and additional 42cm/ 17" of chain so you can adjust it up to a max height of 112cm/ 44" overall drop Currently wired for the UK/ European market, if purchased at full price we can re-wire Free of Charge for anywhere in the world, If you have any questions at all please do ask
