About the Item
This Art Deco chandelier from the 1920s, by Muller Frères, features a dark wrought iron structure supporting a central frosted glass bowl with three tulip shades.
The opaline glass showcases timeless geometric Art Deco motifs, providing a soft diffusion of light. The ironwork, complete with delicate leaf-like details and scrollwork.
Each lampshade is signed “Muller Frères Lunéville”, a hallmark of the renowned glassmakers known for their contributions to Art Nouveau and Art Deco lighting design.
Muller Frères collaborated with Chapelle from 1910 and flourished until 1933, when the factory closed amid the Great Depression. Their works are now highly collectible, appreciated for their craftsmanship and historical significance.
