About the Item

Murano Glass Chandelier with Hanging clear Glass Sphere and Strings Italy 1950s. Entirely handcrafted in the 1950s in Murano, the Venetian island famous for its unrivaled blown glass tradition, this chandelier is made of 9 clear glass arms, each containing one light. Inspired by the elegance and sumptuousness of the Baroque Venice, the chandelier is richly decorated with small spheres in transparent and gold glass, hanging on strings from the top to the bottom of the chandelier. Delicate glass flowers and leaves complete the decoration. The chandelier is supported by a gold-plated metal frame, that recalls the gold glass of the small spheres and gives a shiny dash of color to the chandelier. Thanks to its refined craftsmanship and the careful selection of its materials and colors, this chandelier is a work of art that brings the elegance of the Venetian Baroque mansions to your home and can add a cozy touch to any environment. The chandelier is original in all its parts and in excellent conditions, the frame is slightly worn, as documented in the attached pictures. Its professional rewiring, according to your country specification, will be included in the service as a courtesy.
