About the Item

One of the three beautiful bubble glass chandeliers or pendant lights designed by Helena Tynell for Glashütte Limburg. A design Classic, the amber colored or toned of the hand blown glass gives a wonderful and warm glow.xa0 Heavy quality and in excellent vintage condition. Cleaned, well-wired and ready to use We can supply, free of charge any length and color of cable or rod. Each light requires one single E27 screw fit light bulb (60 Watt max). Helena Tynell is a Finnish glass and ceramics designer. She was a student at the school of the arts in Helsinki between, 1943-1946. She was one of the most influential designers in the Finnish glass company Riihimäki Lasi. Her work has been exhibited from 1954-1960, m (12 editions) at the Triennale in Milan, Zurich, Amsterdam and London. She has worked as a freelance designer for Flygsfors glassworks, BEGA Leuchten, Glashütte Limburg and Fostoria Glass.
