About the Item

High-quality, fully restored industrial luminaire from France. This type of light dates from the 1940s/50s and was used to illuminate large areas (e.g. industrial halls) and streets. The housing is made of cast aluminium and has been polished. The curved glass is saturated to create a diffuse, non-dazzling light. The luminaire has been lovingly restored without spoiling its charm and rewired to European standards. Socket: E27.
