About the Item
A large and beautiful Italian chandelier designed by Oscar Torlasco in 1968, Italy, manufactured in Mid-Century, circa 1970 (late 1960s or early 1970s).
The chandelier is made of a polished brass frame and it has 15-arms with sockets for small Edison screw base bulb (type E14) up to max. 40W per socket. The fixture is compatible with US/UK/ etc. standards. It is possible to install this fixture in all countries (US, UK, Europe, Asia, Canada,) although it may be necessary to purchase different light bulbs suitable to local electricity. It also can be used with a dimmer.
The lamp shades are made of metal in a tarnished lacquered gold finish which hold large lense shaped glass pieces.
Measures: Diameter: 25.2 in. (64 cm).
Height: Body without stem: 19.69 in. (50 cm).
Current overall drop is ca. 31.5 inch ( 80 cm).

Oscar Torlasco
Oscar Torlasco was born in Rome, Italy, in 1934. Torlasco designed many beautiful lamps. The most well known are the lamps he designed for Lumi. He designed for several Italian lighting manufacturers, including Esperia, Stilux, Lamperti and Stilkronen. Most of his designs are from the 1950s and 60s
