About the Item
Inspired by oyster and scallop shells, the Oyster Pendant explores the juxtaposition between raw material and beauty. These pieces are composed of fiberglass, gypsum, paper pulp, and steel and come in perforated or smooth shells.
Every size can be used as a flush mount pendant or can be hung with adjustable steel cables for a more elongated chandelier. Each piece is unique and made to order and is available in either white or custom colors.
Brent Warr Studios founder Brent Warr was raised in Georgia, USA and studied at Auburn University’s college of Architecture, Design, and Construction. Before moving to the back to Georgia to start his furniture and lighting studio, he moved to NYC to work for esteemed Interior and Architecture firms Meyer Davis Studio and Yabu Pushelberg.
Now located in Bainbridge, Georgia, Warr’s furniture, lighting, sculptures, and interiors projects are defined by a studied balance of fluidity and structure, composition and function. His practice is both intuitive and informed by an understanding of history, process, and materials. Above all, Warr’s guiding principles are humor and storytelling. Brent Warr has been featured in Interior Design Magazine, Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, and Vogue Living to name a few.
