About the Item

Utilizing various designs from the ancient Greeks and Romans for inspiration, the neoclassical style of this pair of pendant lights is elegant and sophisticated with more classical elements and straighter lines. The rim of the crystal-beaded bowl has been crafted from brass with gilt acanthus leaf motifs. Acanthus leaf motifs were used extensively by the ancient Greeks and Romans. The shining gold color of the leaves draws the eye in, especially since it is contrasted with the patinated brass. The matching canopy at the top is attached to an adjustable center stem that can be used to adjust the height of the pendants. A cascade of crystal beaded bowls brilliantly dazzling light about a room. At the bottom of the crystals is a bottom gold foliate and acorn finial that centers the fixture. Acorns were another popular neoclassical motif. This pair of pendant fixtures while simplistic in design are sure to be show stoppers in any room they are placed. They would look divine in a hallway or evenly placed over a dining area. Recently rewired to meet US electrical standards, this fixture combines historical elegance with modern convenience. The rod's height is adjustable Recently rewired to meet US electrical standards, this fixture combines historical elegance with modern convenience.
