About the Item

An elegant and high quality pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. Ormolu chandeliers. Each stunning six arm, six light chandelier is centered at the bottom by a charming inverted berried finial below the central fut displaying an quiver design. Each of the six arms connect to the fut and showcase wonderful Rinceau movements at the mid section, and are joined by swaging foliate garlands which link to rosettes. The arms are adorned with acanthus leaf accents which lead to foliate bobeches, candle cups and glass saucers. The arms surround the fut, which is finished with a large scale fletching suspended from the original linked chain and foliate canopy. Chain and Canopy Length: 13" *Shades are shown for display purposes, sold separately.
