About the Item

A beautiful and most decorative pair of French 19th century Ormolu and etched frosted glass chandeliers. Each eight arm chandelier is centered by a lovely reeded and foliate bottom Ormolu finial below the striking frosted glass bowl decorated with most elegant and wonderfully executed etched scrolled foliate patterns. The central rims display fine pierced palmette designs from where the arms branch out, each displaying beautiful pierced scrolled foliate candle cups. Three lovely pierced Ormolu chains lead upwards showcasing floral decorations on every other link.
