About the Item

A stunning and extremely decorative pair of Italian 18th century Venetian st. gilt metal and crystal chandeliers. Each six arm chandelier is centered by a beautiful delicate mottled tear drop shaped crystal pendant below a crystal and mottled gilt metal reserve from where the arms branch out. Each elegantly scrolled arm is adorned with a beautiful array of cut crystal pendants and fine rosettes leading to delicate foliate crystal bobeches. Each arm displays either an exquisite and most unique crystal finial of an exceptional grape cluster or a striking crystal palmette. The central fut is encased with remarkable hand blown crystal housings with lovely wonderfully executed curvaceous and reeded designs leading to the beautiful scrolled gilt metal top crown. The top crown is decorated with superb hand blown crystal balls, delicate rosettes, and lovely inverted palmette crystal pendants. *Shades shown for display purposes, sold separately.
