Pair of model Florina T790 pendants designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for AB Markaryd on the 1970s. Brass. Good vintage condition, minor patina and wear consistent with age and use. The pendants are sold as a set.
Hans-Agne Jakobsson (1919-2009) was a Swedish furniture and interior designer who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was particularly known for his unique lighting, which was characterised by soft, glare-free light and an organic artistic style. Jakobsson's work was inspired by Alvar Aalto and the Danish lighting design master Poul Henningsen, among others.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
