About the Item

Natural tone anodized aluminum chandelier, 1970. Rare creation by César Putzeys ( 1929-1999 ) for Verre Lumière. Verre Lumière is a French company founded in 1968 by master glassmaker and decorator Max Ingrand (former artistic director of Fontana Arte from 1954 to 1967), the Mazda lighting company (a Thompson subsidiary) and the Saint Gobain glass company. One aspect of Verre Lumière's work is to design lighting adapted to the specific nature of the spaces created, with a vision of the unity of architecture and light. The company worked with all the great names in architecture at the time, on prestigious projects in France and around the world. Height 78 cm Width 87 c
