About the Item
This elegant fixture was designed and manufactured in Sweden in the 1920s to 1930s during thje Swedish Grace period.
The light features a suspended bowl-shaped glass shade in a soft pale rose alabaster tone with subtle marbling, creating a refined and elegant appearance.
Its upper rim is richly adorned with floral and foliate relief motifs, while the lower section is vertically fluted, enhancing the sculptural depth and light diffusion. The fixture hangs from a dark patinated metal canopy and a decorative chain, typical of 1920s Swedish Art Deco design. This combination of ornate detailing and clean, rounded geometry embodies the era’s distinctive blend of classic elegance and modern form.
The light has been rewired with new fabric cord. It requires one E26/E27 bulb. All lighting is converted for US usage.
