About the Item
A mid-20th century pendant light by Maria Lindeman for Idman of Finland. The light is illustrated in the Idman catalogue and is model number K 2-1 (small size).
Overall the piece is in good vintage condition. The white finish to the inside of the shade and the warm patina to the brass decoration are as found, with minor signs of age and use as one might expect. The outer shade has been refinished in black, as per the original, with minor signs of wear remaining. The cable keeper has been replaced with new (also black). The Idman stamp appears at the top of the shade.
Wiring:
New wiring with a single E27 bulb-holder; we recommend the use of low-heat model bulbs to protect this piece for the future.

The overall drop shown in the last image is approximately 110cm, but this can be changed by your electrician on review of the wiring.
