About the Item
Inspired by Murano glass beads. The Plass Suspension Lamp by Foscarini was designed by Luca Nichetto in 2011. Plass portrays the millennia-old artisan conventional of glass making, through a present-day process and material: spinning-moulded polycarbonate. The light flares through the shade, resulting in a palpable shadow play around the fixture with a fluid quality. Steel fittings hold a spot light at the base of the fixture, also allowing for more concentrated task light below. A secondary light source emits diffused light from the center.
