About the Item

French Art Deco chandelier by Petitot (Paris), France, circa 1925. Frosted glass and wrought iron. 3 stylized frosted glass shades. Wrought iron fixture. Size: Height 26.4" (67cm), diameter 22" (56cm). Excellent condition+++++ ! A great condition for its age! Same period as Muller Freres, Schneider, Degue, Des Hanots, Hettier-Vincent. Delivered wired for your country (US, UK, EU, China, etc). LED can be used. Antonin Petitot started his company in 1878. His son Henri took over in 1917. They had there own shop in Paris yet primarily were a wholesale selling their lamps to shops all over France, Europe and the States. Together with Hettier Vincent they became the largest producer of French art deco lighting in the early 1930s. Petitot produced precious fixtures in high quality heavy bronze or wrought-iron with shades from the best French glass manufacturers such as Sabino, Jean Gauthier, Muller Freres, Degue and Schneider...
