About the Item

This elegant mid-century pendant was designed and manufactured in Italy in the 1950s. It features a brass central rod that extends into a decorative, curved structure supporting a large circular clear glass shade. The glass has a lavender interior section, creating a striking contrast with the polished brass elements. The shade has a shallow bowl / dome shape, with the brass extending to the lower part, giving the light a soft, warm glow when illuminated. The bottommost piece is made of milk glass, which diffuses the light and softens the illumination. The overall aesthetic reflects the elegance and craftsmanship of Italian design from that era, blending clean lines with artistic details. The chandelier's shape and materials are typical of the mid-century modern movement, focusing on simplicity, functionality, and beauty in form. The light is wired for use in US and any other country of the world and requires two E14 bulbs. The upper lamp rod is app. 10" (ca. 25 cm) and customizable.
