About the Item
Pop Art and Space Age iced pendant lamp, Spain, 1970s. Composed of a central round structure in semi-transparent ice-effect acrylic, and surrounded by a crown of Pop Art style elements in pink/fuchsia semi-transparent acrylic. White lacquered lamp holder, and chain and rosette in golden chromed metal. Very much in the style of the glass creations of J.T. Kalmar, La Murrina and Venini, but using acrylic as the main material. Very much in the style also of the Italian acrylic creations of Targetti Sankey and Toffoli. Butalist air.
Unique pieces.
For an E27 bulb. Original electric installation checked and fully operational. Slight signs of wear on the metal (see photos). Small repair in one of the lamps (see last photo).
Height measurement with chain: 58cm.
Height without chain: 31cm.
