A rare and impressive Bauhaus UFO chandelier designed and produced by Franta Anyz for IAS in the 1920s. This large statement lighting fixture features a polished nickel finish and sand blasted glass diffuser. The chandelier has been carefully cleaned and restored, complete with updated electrical wiring fully compatible with US standards. It includes two lighting circuits: the lower circuit accommodates three bulbs, and the upper holds two bulbs, all with E25 to E27 sockets. Despite restoration, it retains character marks with some visible scratches and a small dent, clearly shown in the accompanying photographs. This iconic piece perfectly represents the innovative spirit of the Bauhaus era and is ideal for collectors or those seeking a stunning centerpiece with historical and artistic significance.
