Lumen, chandelier, satin glass, brass, coated aluminum, Italy, 1950s This graceful chandelier is designed by the Italian lighting company Lumen, renowned for their expertise in crafting elegant lamps that testify to exceptional craftsmanship. It is an exceptionally rare design and not one you are likely to encounter. The design of this lamp exhibits a tripod constellation of hemispherical-shaped shades painted in a creamy off-white tone. The concave shape of the shades contributes to the sculptural quality of the design while also serving a functional role, allowing light to permeate the satin glass and diffuse softly into the surrounding space. The warm brass complements the muted cream tone of the shades, evoking a sense of sophistication. Elegant in line, this rare example of Lumen will add grace and finesse to one's interior.
