Rare Pair of Large Decorative Moonstone Glass Plafonniers by Jefferson – Art Nouveau Period Matching Set A beautiful and highly sought-after matching pair of large moonstone plafonnier ceiling lights by The Jefferson Glass Company, retaining their original detailing and period charm. Each bowl is marked 2114 PAT. AP’LD. FOR, confirming their early 20th-century provenance. The exterior of each moonstone bowl features a satin finish, with raised motifs in a classic Art Nouveau design. These lights not only deliver the soft, diffused glow typical of Jefferson moonstone glass but also showcase exquisite surface detail that becomes particularly vibrant when illuminated. Each fitting is complete with a triple-hook ceiling plate and suspended chains finished in a dark bronze tone—complementing the subtle warmth of the glass. Ideal for pairing over a dining area, entrance hall, or large stairwell—particularly in period properties or tastefully layered interiors. The artist’s figure in the images is 6ft 1" to give a true representation of scale. When renovating our original reclaimed lighting all existing electrical parts are removed and renewed with modern electrical components. All components used are CE certified and our lights are wired tested in line with BSEN Standards. As standard our lights come with 1m of our premium fabric three core cable to a colour of your choice unless stated otherwise in the product description. Generally, ES or BS lamp holders are used unless otherwise stated and are fully compatible with main dimmers and modern LED filament bulbs. Our lights can be wired to bespoke specifications, longer lengths, different cable types and compatibility with specialist dimming systems such as DALI can all be accommodated. Lights supplied to U.S.A and Canada are installed using UL Certified cable and lamp holders. As standard we supply round black fabric cable and E26 holders. Please note that although we use UL certified components our original reclaimed lights do not come with UL certification. Due to the antique nature of our original vintage lights, we cannot offer an official IP rating and cannot guarantee our lights for external use.
