About the Item

Large ceiling lamp designed by Angelo Lelii and Naborre Corno for Arredoluce, 1961. Brass frame, white opal duplex glass diffusers, 5 light points, excellent condition. Model extensively documented in the bibliography Arredoluce catalog raisonné edited by A. Pansera, A. Padoan and A. Palmaghini, p. 346. This rare lamp was designed by designer as well as entrepreneur Angelo Lelii in collaboration with Naborre Corno, who with Arredoluce was able to revolutionize the lighting world with his choice of high-quality materials and his inexhaustible executive imagination. In 1947 he presented the 12128 lamp at the 8th Milan Triennale, achieving great success that guaranteed him important collaborations. Aluminum, Plexiglas, brass and glass are the materials with which he manages to create his luminous, ingenious yet elegant works of art.
