Mid-Century Modernist woven wicker wire and rattan pendant lamp / lantern, Italy, 1950s.
Rare find.
This suspension lamp was all made by hand at the fifties. Rattan large circles are joined between them and creating a spherical structure. It has a woven wicker cylindrical lampshade with paper at the interior part to difusse the light. It hangs from a chain with XL round rattan links with a brass canopy on the top.
It has all the freshness of the taste of the Mediterranean Italian Riviera.
This pendant lamp will be a nice addition hanging over a kitchen's table or dining area and will add a fresh and modern accent to any ambiance. Perfect for a beach house, countryside house or urban appartment.
