About the Item
Manufactured in England by Holophane circa 1950.
A heavy duty FLP (explosion proof) rated industrial pendant lights finished in our our unique rusted finish which creates wonderful texture and detail to the metal surface of the lights.
The lights have wonderful prismatic glass bowls and further internal prismatic glass diffusers resulting in a fabulous diffused light being emitted.
World renowned for their prismatic diffusing glass Holophane made an extensive range of lighting from decorative church lighting to heavy duty industrial lighting and manufactured lights in USA, Uk and France creating designs that spans throughout the 20th century and actually continues today.
These reclaimed industrial lights work well in any modern interior looking especially great hung in multiples over kitchen islands and countertops.
When renovating our original reclaimed lighting all existing electrical parts are removed and renewed with modern electrical components.
All components used are CE certified and our lights are wired
tested in line with BSEN Standards.
As standard our lights come with 1m of our premium fabric three core cable to a colour of your choice unless stated otherwise in the product description.
Generally, ES or BS lamp holders are used unless otherwise stated and are fully compatible with main dimmers and modern LED filament bulbs.
Our lights can be wired to bespoke specifications, longer lengths, different cable types and compatibility with specialist dimming systems such as DALI can all be accommodated.
Lights supplied to U.S.A and Canada are installed using UL Certified cable and lamp holders. As standard we supply round black fabric cable and E26 holders. Please note that although we use UL certified components our original reclaimed lights do not come with UL certification.
Due to the antique nature of our original vintage lights, we cannot offer an official IP rating and cannot guarantee our lights for external use.
