Rare midcentury pendant in brass, wood and frosted opaline glass designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for Karlskrona Lampfabrik, Sweden
This great looking pendant is of quality and has great details. It features six light sources, hidden by frosted opaline glass shades. The brass arms are connected to a brass center piece, attached to a wooden rod. A nice detail are the cone-shaped brass hats on top of the shades.
Condition: Very good original condition with signs of age/patina.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
