About the Item

A lovely and most decorative set of four Italian early 19th century Genovese st. Crystal, patinated Wood, Giltwood, and Wrought Iron chandeliers. Each truly stunning six light chandelier is centered by a carved Giltwood tassel bottom finial hanging from a carved acorn mount. The carved patinated Wood and Giltwood acorn is accented by a small scale Wrought Iron spray with rosette and prism cut Crystal pendants hanging from each end. The six 'S' scrolled Wrought Iron arms are all housed on a rounded foliate decorated Giltwood and patinated wood frame. Connecting the six arms are swaging Crystal garlands with additional prism cut pendants hanging throughout. Many of the swaging Crystal garlands extend upwards past the mottled and fluted central fut and connect to the top crown. The spray like top crown is made of additional Wrought Iron bands and is beautifully decorated with swaging Crystal garlands similar to the base. *Shades, Canopies and Chain shown for display purposes, sold separately.
