About the Item
An unusual German glazed ceramic pendant hanging light in the Fat Lava style. The four outer lightbulbs are set in the centre of an irridescent orange glazed concave circular flower petal 3-D design with the outer body a mottled brown matt colour. Underneath a larger lighbulb is set within a white metal shade which reflects the light downwards. The heavy and well made shade is suspended from a solid brass rod. The wiring is accessed by unscrewing the larger lightbulb below which removes the white shade below. The lights are in good vintage condition with some age-related tarnishing to the brass supporting rod. The white underside metal shade has some wear.
The wiring has been checked by a qualified electrician and is in full working order.
Five gold-capped LED lightbulbs are required - 4 x E14 Edison screw in Lightbulbs 1 x E26/E27 lightbulb. Not supplied but are available online in a dimmable LED version.
Perfect for residential and commercial use perhaps along a bar, above a kitchen island or dining table.
