About the Item

A set of three 1970s ceiling lamps, attributed to the Florentine designer Tommaso Barbi (b.1944-2015), known for his expressive use of brass. Each lamp is characterised by four hammered brass panels, articulated with a rational, brutalist restraint and reduced in ornament. Its cuboid form is subtly repeated in hammered fixtures above.
