About the Item

This is a beautiful small, ornate antique chandelier, made in France in the 1950s. The lower portion is shaped like a rounded basket, densely covered in small faceted crystal beads. It has a tiered silhouette - the chandelier has a tall, elegant profile with multiple segments that taper inward and outward, giving it a sculptural hourglass shape. It has long, icicle-style crystal drops hang around the midsection, adding sparkle and movement. The upper section of the chandelier includes a crown-like array of metal scrolls adorned with teardrop crystals. A simple metal chain suspends the fixture from above, we provide a reasonable length of antiqued chain and ceiling rose to complete the light.
