About the Item
A small chandelier designed by Hans - Agne Jakobsson for his company Hans - Agne Jakobsson AB in Markaryd, Sweden. The chandelier was designed in 1964, called the "Hurricane" and the model number is T-525. The red / orange painted chandelier is composed of a metal frame with wood accents, the white globes are hand blown. It appears the chandelier had been used as such, but can be easily rewired to use as an accent swag lamp. The chandelier still has its original European wiring, so the bulb sockets use European size bulbs, however, inserts are supplied where American E12 candelabra bulbs can be used, six new 15W bulbs come with the chandelier. The chandelier is approximately 12 1/2 inches tall, 12 inches at its widest, the current cord is 44 inches long. The chandelier is unmarked, but well documented. The ceiling canopy is missing which usually had the Hans - Agne Jakobsson AB label attached.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Very good vintage condition. A few small paint losses and some flea bite chips on the globes, these small issues are only noticable under close scrutiny. There is some slight soiling on the cord and the chandelier is missing the ceiling canopy.
