A RARE RUN OF SMALL HOLOPHANE THREE PART PENDANT LIGHTS PRICE IS PER LIGHT Holophane pendant lights reclaimed from an abandoned 150 year old chapel originally built in 1876 in the heart of Gwynedd village in Wales, Rhosgadfan Chapel was listed for sale when we spotted the lights still hanging in the images of the stripped out interior. Made in England by Holophane in the 1920's these lights have hung in the church for around 100 years. All glass is stamped with the Holophane makers marks and model numbers. The small decorative brass galleries are also stamped Holophane and have aged wonderfully over time. These cute pendant lights look particularly beautiful when hung in multiples over tables and countertops. The drop on the lights can be adjusted to suite with a minimum drop of around 300 mm, the lights come with 2 meters of our premium black fabric twisted cable as standard. Holophane's "Reflector - Refractors" were developed following the commission of the company to provide the illumination of St Pauls Cathedral, London in 1923 requiring greater glare and brightness. As seen in our 1937 catalogue snippet the Holophane Reflector - Refractors form totally enclosed prismatic glassware, originally designed for lighting Public Buildings, School, Offices and Shop interiors. WHY IS VINTAGE HOLOPHANE SO POPULAR IN INTERIOR DESIGN In addition to its practical qualities, vintage Holophane glass is highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts of vintage and industrial design. The prismatic texture of the glass creates a unique visual effect that is both beautiful and functional, making it a popular choice for use in home decor and lighting fixtures. The vintage Holophane glass is often paired with high-quality metal fixtures, such as brass or cast iron, to create a look that is both elegant and industrial in style. All components used are CE certified and our lights are wired tested in line with BSEN Standards. As standard our lights come with 1m of our premium fabric three core cable to a colour of your choice unless stated otherwise in the product description. Generally, ES or BS lamp holders are used unless otherwise stated and are fully compatible with main dimmers and modern LED filament bulbs. Our lights can be wired to bespoke specifications, longer lengths, different cable types and compatibility with specialist dimming systems such as DALI can all be accommodated. Lights supplied to U.S.A and Canada are installed using UL Certified cable and lamp holders. As standard we supply round black fabric cable and E26 holders. Please note that although we use UL certified components our original reclaimed lights do not come with UL certification. Due to the antique nature of our original vintage lights, we cannot offer an official IP rating and cannot guarantee our lights for external use.

ORIGINAL HOLOPHANE SPUN ALUMINIUM PENDANT LIGHTS A fab run of vintage Holophane spun aluminium shades with polished copper fittings. Theses original Holophane shades have been painted on the exterior with a special copper based paint and then aged up with acid to create the beautiful green turquoise verdigris finish. The interior of the shades have been polished to create a wonderful reflective surface bouncing the light creating a wonderful warm glow. The shades are stamped with the classic Holophane logo. These shades would of originally held and protected the Holophane prismatic glass but have repurposed to create a stunning standalone pendant light.
