About the Item

Small opaline glass globe pendant lights with white Bakelite hanging gallery. Each pendant features a spherical opaline glass shade with a distinctive concentric ribbed pattern. This subtle texturing softens and diffuses the light when illuminated, while lending the globe a gentle sculptural presence. The pendants retain their original white Bakelite galleries and have been professionally converted to cable-suspended ceiling fixtures, making them suitable for modern residential and commercial interiors. Salvaged from former school buildings in Czechoslovakia and dating from the mid to late 20th century, these small ribbed milk glass pendant lights are understated examples of Eastern European functional design.
