About the Item

Sona, a murano glass pendant designed by Carlo Nason and manufactured by Lumenform, 1970s. The pendant is made of iridescent glass and metal. The glass globe has a round opening on both sides. The bulb holder is secured in the smaller of the two openings. A curved metal frame extends from this holder to the other opening, while a metal wire extends downward from the ceiling mount. By attaching the end of the wire to the curved frame, the tilt angle of the lamp can be determined and easily adjusted.
