About the Item
Elegant high quality chandelier with 16 cubist glass bodies on a chromed frame. The chandelier is made of chrome-plated metal and very nicely shaped glass. The clear glass has small air inclusions. Gem from the time. With this light you make a clear statement in your interior design. A real eye-catcher even unlit. Manufactured by Cosack Bros., Germany in the 1960s.
The Cosack Bros. company was founded in Neheim-Hüsten, Germany by Egon, Friedrich and Theodor Cosack together with Gottliebe Tappe. Gebrüder Cosack (Gecos) received 15 iF Design Awards.
Model: Atomic, Sputnik.
Style: mid century, modernist, Motoko Ishii / Staff attr.
Colors: transparent, white and silver.
Materials: glass and metal.
Measures: diameter 25.6" in. (65 cm), body height 15.75" in. (40 cm), total height incl. suspension 31.5" in. (80 cm).
Lighting: takes 16 small Edison E14 base screw bulbs.
Wattage: we recommend up to 40w per bulb. Works on 220v as well as 110v.
Condition: very good vintage condition. No imperfections to the glass.
Wiring: the lamp has been tested with US American light bulbs under 120v and works flawlessly, no tools or rewiring required. All our goods are originally wired for 220v. Delivery without bulbs.
Shipping: in order to ensure safe transport, the lamp will be dismantled and carefully packed. Assembly required. We recommend expedited shipping, only.
