Crafts era large chandelier with a unique white and black alabaster shade and a perfect matching alabaster canopy.
Thanks to its large size, its unique hand carved design and superb condition this alabaster chandelier will light up both your days and evenings. What makes this particular chandelier stand out from most of the alabaster pendants that we have seen and sold over the years, are the stylish and all-hand carved flowers, branches with leaves and bunches of grapes that are carved all around. This circular pendant also come with a beautiful and perfectly rounded edge and the wonderful flowers, branch, leaf and grapes patterns are clear to see from a distance as well. It must have taken a highly skilled artisan a whole lot of time to first draw and then perfectly hand-create this unique pendant. For it to still be in this good condition after more than 100 years is like an ode to his craftsmanship. We could shoot many more photos, but you still would not be able to see the true beauty of this shade and you could still not get a good idea of the tranquil beauty and class that this chandelier radiates. In real life (or in person) our antiques always have that little bit more and this stunning pendant is no exception. You are going to have to take our word for it.
Both with the light on and off this striking pendant will never go unnoticed. The mint alabaster canopy is like the icing on the cake and this chandelier is now rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well. It will easily take two bulbs of up to 100 watts each, but we would go with three times 60 or 80 watts, because this will suffice. Thanks to the metal hook inside the adjustable canopy, mounting this unique chandelier can be done in just a few minutes.
