About the Item
The Craie suspension consists of two shoulders covered with a leather breastplate.Craie embodies the meeting of mineral-white plaster and animal Collet leather.One structures, the other envelops.The chalky mattness of the plaster, accentuated by the discreet sheen of the leather, reveals its subtly irregular texture and the work of the craftsman who shaped it.
The delicate tension born of this contrast underlines the veil of light that gently unfolds.

Charlotte Besson-Oberlin’s experience and taste for sober, pure design were honed at the Christian Liaigre design office, where she spent 11 years working all over the world, first as an interior designer, then as head of furniture design.
Charlotte Besson-Oberlin created dix9mai to add her own personality to this invaluable experience, offering a design with clean lines and unexpected touches that never freeze the decor.
