About the Item
This lovely Swedish counterweight lamp is a real gem! It's in such great condition for its age. The design and especially the floral fabric are strongly reminiscent of the Austrian designer Josef Frank, who designed magnificent interior items in Sweden. The lampshade is printed with beautiful fantasy flowers, and small, hand-cut, faceted crystal beads that glitter beautifully have been sewn onto the end of the lampshade. The inside of the lampshade is lined with fine silk or rayon, so you can be sure it's as soft and cozy as can be. It's still in its original condition, but it does have some imperfections due to the delicate workmanship. You'll hardly notice them or feel them while you're using them. Thanks to its handy counterweight, you can easily adjust the beautiful lamp from a length of 89 cm to 156 cm. I personally find that 1 meter is the perfect length. All you need to get this sweet lamp going is an E26/E27 Edison bulb with a screw thread. Rest assured, we've taken care of the cables! We've made sure to replace them so that you can easily connect this beautiful lamp. We hope you'll enjoy this unique counterweight lamp as much as we do!
