One of a kind light fixture with a stunning white alabaster disc-shade.
Thanks to its timeless design, its large size (19.5 inches) and its good condition this alabaster chandelier will light up both your days and evenings, both in summer and winter time. The black veins combined with other white veins in this marble-like mineral stone pendant contrast even more beautiful when the light is switched on. We could shoot a hundred photos, but you still would not be able to see the true beauty of this shade and matching brass color chain. The unique patterns in this in this hand carved shade are the work of mother nature herself and the light brings them out in their true glory. In real life our antiques always have that little bit extra and this stunning pendant is no exception. The chain and the equally timeless, alabaster canopy are like the icing on the cake of this truly stylish ceiling lamp. To find this disc shade shape it in this excellent condition made our day, and we are proud to be able to offer it to our 1stdibs clientele first. For the photos of this chandelier we used three 60 watt bulbs. This fixture however, will also take 100 watt bulbs and if you use a dimmer switch then you can always create the perfect atmosphere for every occasion. To us, this is the ideal chandelier for a master bedroom, entry hall, stairwell or living room.
Mind you, this antique pendant too has been rewired for safe and immediate usage the world over. Thanks to the metal hook inside the height adjustable alabaster canopy, safely mounting this antique light tight to your ceiling (and over your junction box) should take no more than 10 minutes either.
