Designed to hide all the electrical components within its form, this piece is a feat of design and elegance. Sculptural and delicate, it offers softness and warmth to your home. Each component can be replaced if broken with our repair-friendly designs.
This pendant was constructed with stoneware clay and has an unlacquered brass canopy and rod. The drop length and metal finish can be customized, including powder coating.
Rory Shamlian is the owner and designer behind Rory Pots. She started this business with the desire to work with her hands and design freely. Her relationship with ceramics began as a source of grounding during the deep winters of Vermont, and quickly became an all-consuming study of design and craft. From apprenticeships and studio assistantships with high-level ceramicists, to years of independent study, Rory Pots was born.
Shamlian’s lighting and object designs are heavily influenced by her years working as a vintage lighting technician. Her work is made completely by hand and everything is repairable from the electrical elements to replacing the ceramic components. When investing in her work, you’re acquiring an heirloom, meant to last in aesthetics and function for generations to come.
