About the Item

Elegant original Murano glass chandelier in three tiers of unusually long textured opaque cylindrical drops. Original painted iron frame show some areas of plaint flaking but this is not seen when the glass is hung. The glass remains in excellent condition. Six light bulb fittings, re-wired and PAT tested. Venini glass was founded in 1921 on the island of Murano by Paolo Venini. Over the century the manufacturers were responsible for some of the most innovative and elegant glass designs in Italy last century.
