About the Item

An unusual and very large lantern or pendant in patinated dark bronze frame work with asymmetrical patterned borders and opaline white glass panels. Very contemporary in design with large scale and form. One panel at the bottoms swings back open to be able to insert bulb. The bronze frame, stem and ceiling rose are polished to a very deep bronze finish. Design and manufacture unknown, but most probably French. Very good quality piece using expensive materials in manufacture.
