About the Item

The shape of this hand blown milk glass shade has a character all its own. These were produced in limited quantities using wood molds and old world techniques. The end result is an 1800s wavy glass look. The ornate Victorian vented brass shade holder is a style often found in early gas and oil lamps. They are a good size with an 8 in diameter and over 19 inches tall. The tip of this lamp also has a deep additional decorative detail. This lamp has a nice historic feel to it.
